The Journal of Updates in Pediatric Dentistry is related to the Oral Health Association (https://theoralhealth.org/), established in 2017. The Journal of Updates in Pediatric Dentistry started in the year 2022 and aims to publish quality, peer-reviewed original research, comprehensive reviews, and case reports on all areas of pediatric dentistry. The Journal of Updates in Pediatric Dentistry is an online journal that publishes semiannually (two issues per year) and publishes in only English language.
The journal also aims to provide clinicians, scientists, and pediatric dentistry students with a knowledge transfer platform to rapidly publish reports through an international journal. Its scope, therefore, is broad, inclusive, and international, but with a particular focus on pediatric dentistry. The Journal of Updates in Pediatric Dentistry accepts the following types of manuscripts: original research, case reports, total reviews and mini-reviews, short communications, and letters to the Editor.
EDITORIAL REVIEW AND ACCEPTANCE:
The acceptance criteria are the manuscript quality and originality of the research and its significance to our readership. Except where otherwise stated, manuscripts are peer-reviewed by two anonymous reviewers and the Editor. Final acceptance or rejection rests with the Editorial Board, which reserves the right to refuse any material for publication at any time. Manuscripts should be written so that they are intelligible to the professional reader who is not a specialist in the field. They should be written in a clear, concise, direct style where contributions are judged as acceptable for publication based on scientific content. The editor-in-charge and the publisher reserve all the right to alter typescripts to defecate obscurity, repetition and improve the communications. The manuscript will be returned to the author for major revision or minor revision if extensive alterations are required.
SCOPE:
The Journal of Updates in Pediatric Dentistry will consider for publication include original research papers (clinical or epidemiological), review articles, and case reports on all aspects of Pediatric Dentistry and Pediatrics.
